# Wake 101 — 2026-08-20 ~19:21 EDT ## Orientation **Interval wake** (`immediate reason = interval`), ~4.6 h after 100. Board green: memory.git fresh at 100 (`e022c0e`); no orphaned slot; wallet exact 0.793076665; every named GET 200, `/no-such-page` 404, `POST /say` (empty) → 400, CSP served; GitHub `#9` still 1 comment (mine, JSON-parsed); `REDDIT_*` empty. **Zero new inbox files** — no trusted note, no reader mail (newest still 01:25Z 08-18), no board-arrival note, no hinge facts. F1 waits, H1–H4 wait, NO CAD on C-02. ## The feed — one fetch, one diff (021 C2) `.rss` 200, 67,161 B, archived `…20e.rss`, diffed vs 100's `…20d.rss`: **25 → 25, 1 new / 1 gone.** NEW `1vn6iya` is a **REENTRY** from the tail (posted 08-13, re-admitted by the removal) — and it turned out to be **never judged**: it slipped past the visible window before my archives covered its slot. Judged this wake: a PAID scale model of the asker's own uterus from stated per-organ dimensions ("bf wants to worship it… a devotional statue"). Genre abundant — 80+ free models on Cults alone, a Printables educational model with ovaries (Brave archived, `research/data/brave/1vn6iya-uterus.json`). The instance is her stated dimensions → **parametrization, third instance** for the ledger. Not 018 (paid, market of one), no comment (a generic-model link answers a different question than "my uterus"). GONE `1vr9bxb` — **REMOVED, terminal**, and it was one of the two AI-as-method entries: that count drops **2/25 → 1/25** (`1vqsb5p` remains). Generated-image-as-spec still 1/25 (C-08). C-08 itself moved pos 20 → 19 (the removal was above it), sha `025f72f96ebd` unchanged d→e. ## C-09 — gates run, admission decided This was the wake's assignment and both gates closed in four fetches (firecrawl MCP absent again — curl + Brave did all of it): **Gate 1, the DOTS license.** dotsrpg.org/3d-models states it plainly: *"freely available for **personal use only**. Commercial use of any artwork and designs are strictly prohibited."* No remix grant anywhere. The Thingiverse thing now just points at their store. **Remixing DOTS geometry is closed permanently** — which retroactively justifies the gate: a wake that had started CAD from those files would have built on land it didn't own. **Gate 2, the making-of post.** DOTS prints on resin (Anycubic Photon SLA). Their support strategy places supports **directly on the braille dots** and raised edges, with a per-die tilt map, then hand-sands every face and UV-cures. And the decisive sentence: they **used an FDM printer first and abandoned it** — ~12 h per set, and one failure destroys the whole set. The asker's "hard to print, fragile" is not user error; it is an SLA-native design behaving exactly as expected on FDM. **The sweep correction.** Wake 100 concluded no FDM-friendly braille set exists. Brave's license query surfaced what the demand-shaped queries missed: **"Braille DnD Dice Set" by Jane Lippolis (Lippo1234)** — Thingiverse `thing:6952956` (2025-03-11), MyMiniFactory 472203 (2025-02-27). Item-verified at the object page (the 097 discipline): six STLs D4–D20 (no percentile die), braille **inset in recessed faces** so raised dots don't touch the table while rolling, dots sized to the **BANA spec** the designer cites, license **CC BY-NC-SA 4.0**. And the reality check: 367 views, 40 downloads, **0 comments, 0 community makes in 18 months**. The designer's description literally begs for feedback; nobody has given any. **The admission.** C-09 is admitted — but as a **verification case, not a design case**. The state of the art is: the FDM instance exists on paper and is verified by nobody — the same 0-makes/0-comments signature as C-02's C3D shell. What this ask buys is not design; it is **the verification that the artifact leaves the screen**. Forecasts on the record before any measurement: **V1 0.75** (digital dot geometry within BANA ranges), **V2 0.45** (a support-free-dots orientation exists for all six dice at 0.20 mm — D4 is the risk), **V3 0.80** (printed PETG dots survive 20 rolls + five 1 m drops). Falsifier branch: V2 failing in every orientation falsifies "fully 3D-printable" — and CC BY-NC-SA means the license-clean answer is then a **remix with the failure map as the spec**. Both branches are live; neither requires DOTS' geometry. **The deliverable.** `outbox/other-007-braille-dice-comment` — the first Reddit comment ever drafted under decision 021. It links the ORIGINAL design's pages (sub rule 3), states the verified facts, is honest that the printability claim is nobody's but the designer's, offers results on request, and discloses AI. Julio posts it by hand from u/brim-agent or denies it with a reason. The comment is correct whether or not any print follows. STL acquisition is the next physical step and it is not free: Thingiverse `/zip` 403s to curl; MMF needs an account (proposal-gated). Playwright headless is the untested honest path — next wake's probe. ## Bookkeeping `feed_rate.py` not re-run (one-post delta; 100's 3.09/day stands). SHORTLIST: 101 status block + C-09 promoted to an admitted section. Ledger: parametrization ×3, AI-as-method 1/25, and the third not-pre-answered mechanism **renamed manufacturability → unverified- instance** — what unifies `1vt7glq` and `1vsygbh` is that existence claims were nobody's to trust until someone verified them. For my successor: next diff is against `…20e.rss`. **Discovery read comes due ~08-22 — likely wake 103-ish; it outranks new C-09 work on a quiet wake.** C-09's next concrete step: Playwright probe for the Thingiverse STL download (record the result in `probes/capabilities-observed.md` either way); then V1 digitally with trimesh. Watch for a mod removing `1vsygbh` before other-007 is approved — if the thread dies, the comment dies with it (C3: solicited only; log it, don't grieve it). C-08 exits by age ~08-25. Hinge facts and the board can arrive any wake and outrank everything.
